Personal Injury

Personal injury is a fascinating area of law at the present time, not just in legal terms but for a host of other reasons.

Dealing firstly with the law, personal injury claims cover a multitude of situations, including but not limited to :-

Some of the above types of injury claim are straightforward, others are extremely complex, so any perception that personal injury solicitors are at the lower end of the legal market is frankly wrong. In fact, in terms of business ability and profitability, many general practice law firms and commercial law practices could learn an awful lot from personal injury practices, which are generally very well run, and the owners of these business understand that marketing has become a fundamental part of legal practice, not an afterthought or something of non-importance.

The downside of the above boom in personal injury claims, is that, like almost all booms, it has now taken in a significant amount of fraud, and this has become such a problem that the Government has made it a priority to reign in the excesses of personal injury and to stop the so-called compensation culture.
